About Me
I've been studying music for over 20 years, from classical piano and cello, to bass guitar, percussion, electric and acoustic guitar, as well as a lot of focus on vocals. I have performed with several bands from a wide variety of styles, and I still continue to play on stage regularly. My study of guitar has evolved into a multi-faceted approach, using methods and skills from every genre to create a unique sound.
I love working with students of all skill levels, whether you are new to playing an instrument, or if you are experienced and looking to improve. The satisfaction I gain from teaching is amazing and I get a tremendous amount of joy out of helping others learn to express themselves through music.

We will be learning fundamentals and technique during each class, but we will also have a lot of fun improvising and discussing your interests and passions. Guitar Lessons for Beginners
I welcome students of all skill levels, and design each lesson that I teach according to each student's abilities, offering encouragement and guidance every step of the way. On our first day we will discuss your interests and explore your current musical knowledge, and together we will develop goals and methods for fast improvement. Nothing delights me more than mentoring and inspiring my students' passion for music.

Intermediate and Advanced Lessons
Students looking to continue to develop their guitar skill, as well as hone and master their technique will find themselves at ease during my lessons. Together we will work to expand your knowledge of music theory, exploring a greater understanding of guitar method that will strengthen your abilities extensively. We will continue to learn new songs regularly, as well as focus heavily on developing your improvisation and personal song writing skills. I also offer the opportunity to record your playing and can also offer lessons revolving around developing production skills and equipment knowledge, including microphones, speakers, amplification, effects equipment, midi processors, and digital recording software.
